We don't make videos for businesses. We make them for the humans inside. And humans are looking for something very real. They want to be moved. And we're here to move them. To take them to a new place or to a new state of mind. We're here to make the ordinary extra-ordinary.

I am Keshvan Sugumaran, a Malaysian filmmaker with over 10 years of experience in creative industry. My passion in filmmaking began after my short story selected as the state’s best short story in 2003 when I was still in high school. In 2008, I graduated with a degree in Cinematography from University Malaysia Sarawak. Then, I spent a year in broadcasting, and a year after in Singapore as corporate video editor. Then I further my exploration in film arts, by undertaking specified programs, such as Professional Screenplay Writing in MindScreen Film Institute in India, and Acting & Voice Modulation in Teater Y, India. Then I worked as editor and cameraman for various television programs, documentaries, corporate videos, music videos, stop-motion animation for years. In 2014, I venture into film’s visual effects industry, and become certified VFX artist, from The Foundry, UK. My exploration in VFX application gives me new insights in moviemaking. My fourth short-film, The Return (2015) gives me high recognition as won Grand Prize at Sundance Channel Short Film Competition. The film screened in Sundance Channel, and I was sent to Sundance Film Festival, where I gained valuable experiences after meeting with various filmmakers from all around the world. My exploration in art of filmmaking never stops, where in 2016 I took the Directing Actors workshop at Los Angles, which is conducted by the famous film coach, Mark W. Travis. I have huge passion in documentary too. I did works as DP and Editor for many TV documentaries, and one of my short documentary, Sarawak Sik Cuak has won Best Short Documentary award at UMS Film Festival, 2008. Currently I and my team are in effort to do video documentation of facts that has to be documented before its too late. For the effort we are undertaking, this is our starting project, 'High in the Sky', a complete research video documentary on 'Wau Kites', which is being forgotten by Malaysian local people.
