A project titled “Sunlight to Streetlight: A Community Solar Project” is an initiative by the BRIGHTHUB group for the SULAM program under the course GT30203 International Corporate Finance. This group consists of 10 students from the International Financial Economics Program, Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL). The project aims to install solar-powered streetlights for the Kampung Patau-Patau 2 community. This is because the community still relies on bridges as its main pathways, which currently have insufficient lighting. The project aims to help the community enhance safety awareness, environmental sustainability, and provide exposure to the concept of crowdfunding.
