We are a group of first-year students from the law faculty of University Malaya, currently organizing a project with the purpose to help students in need. The donations will help with our project funds and the rest of it will solely be donations to the targeted schools in need. Your donation means a lot to us and the children in need. We will reward you with an e-certificate as a sign of our gratitude for your donation and a collar pin if the amount is higher than RM 20, 2 collar pins and an E-certificate if the amount is higher than RM 40 and 5 collar pins and an E-certificate if the amount is higher than RM 100! We urge all of you to donate as much as you think fit as this will benefit the children and school in need tremendously.
Our objectives of this project are as follow:
1) Raise awareness about the refugee community and human rights
2) Nurture a sense of belonging and empathy among the society towards the refugee community

《联美饼家》是由李水漳在1963年创办，如今已由第二代接手。在这59个年头以来，联美饼家从创业初期的家庭式经营小饼铺发展至连锁店，而“Bee’s Bakery”更成功转型面向全民的烘培品牌。在经营模式和理念的改变所带来发展及后来在二千年代初达到巅峰，一路走来过程曲折蜿蜒，几次的起伏变化，1993年的一場大火，2010年的金融危機，有如电影情节般的戏剧化。从一家门市发展到高峰32家分店，再缩小至今天的3家门市，但关键领导人物李锡循的初心从没動搖过，发揚中华传统糕点，传承华人优良食品文化。但造化弄人，潜伏了几年伺机东山再起的当兒，他卻被一场大病击倒，无奈計劃胎死腹中。联美再次经历重大打击，以后的发展也只能靠下一任的接班人Chris李錫穩來擔當！
