Aloha, beloved pledgers!
Thanks to all pledgers for sticking with us, updating with the progress of the project collaboration with the Association of Deaf People FT of Labuan.
On 14th July 2020, we have a second meeting with the association to give the funds to the association amounted RM1,500, and both parties signed a cash bill as prove for the fund transfer.
Mr. Herman stated in the meeting that the project would take quite a while since they will do the project themselves by gotong-royong since the hiring cost for a contractor has increased to RM2500 after the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19. Mr. Herman also stated the association would update after preparing the materials and hardware. As soon as POPWPL has found a suitable contractor for the project, we would announce to the pledgers through MyStartr. We agreed to distribute the rewards for all pledgers once we have received the rest of the rewards that our team bought from POPWPL.
We would update our pledgers with further progress through MyStartr to inform any notice or progress in the crowdfunding campaign, Unheard Sound of Hope, with collaboration with Persatuan Orang Pekak Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan.
