The purpose of the campaign is to raise fund to help in improving the gym facility of the Association of Deaf People F.T of Labuan as they provide mini-gym which is Deaf Martial Art for teenagers with coaches consists of disabled people. They need to have outdoor space outside of the mini-gym to have comfortable exercise sessions and hence, need to do flooring outside of the gym facility.

INTRODUCTION

Association of Deaf People Federal Territory of Labuan has been established in 2017 at F.T of Labuan and acts as an information center to communities regarding the information about deaf people community to cultivate better understanding among the society about deaf people.

ESTIMATED BUDGET 

*During the discussion with a secretary of association deaf people F.T Labuan, Mr. Md. Herman Bin Saidin has mentioned that, the budget that is needed to provide a cemented ground for training area approximately RM 1500 including hardware tools, labor costs, etc.

Our team consists of 5 members which are final year students from Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus taking a bachelor’s degree of International Finance (International Financial Economics) with honors. We are enthusiastic to encourage communities to help people in need. This project will help to deepen the understanding and responsibilities of the community towards people with disabilities. Hence, the relationship between the community and disabled people is indirectly enhanced.

• If do not manage to receive 100%  of the fund, it would lead to the association cannot proceed with their project to provide comfortable space at the mini-gym facility and would have to uncomfortable space for exercise session as the progress would be halted due to lack of fund. And the money would be unusable as there are no upcoming projects for the association and thus causing unproductive usage of the accumulated fund more than the intended.
• If the fund excess 100% it could be used to improve the administration of the association through the improvement of IT facility which is Computer that also needed by the association
• The challenges that we faced are including the barrier of communication due to some coaches communicate through sign language (ASL) and constraint of a budget.
