 About a guy with two wives. He lost his passport the day before his honeymoon to London with his second wife. So who took it? First wife or Second Wife?

Where is Pak Man's Passport?

Pak Man with his new Wife,Laila, is getting flight to London for their honeymoon. But his passport is missing a few hours before the flight. This event has cause many trouble for this new lovebird that cause suspicion towards Pak Man's first wife, Mak Salmah. Until the end, actually from the beginning, the passport is located in........

Yup, no Spoiler guys, But im sure its going to be interesting! Yay!

Is it worth it? Why should you care?

This story would make a change in Malaysia, especially for millenials. For starters, polygamy is a very sensitive issue and there are many interesting story about it especially in Malaysia. There are also some serious issue that were taken lightly as well. But We as filmaker, We wil make sure that this film would make a different point of view about polygamy through our punchline!!

. Where are we shooting?

We are planning to shoot aound the area of Hulu Langat with a village vibe on the set. But we have to pay for the house we need to shoot which is quite expensive

The Game Plan

We need your generous contribution in funding for our film to complete the production of Passport Madu. We're looking to minimize our budget as much as possible while retaining the quality of a short film that we want and with your contribution, it could really make a difference. What will we be using your contributions for?

1) Casting

Casting helps the character of the person living inside the story and this will be what the audience will hate, love or relate to in the film.

2) Production

Production is where the execution of the creative mind happens. The fundings will be ensured to also be used in terms of equipments, transportation, lodging, food and drinks and here is where we will be making our production run smoother during the shooting days for the film. Renting the equipments and lightings would help us get the accurate feelings that we wanted to provoke. 

2) Location

To get the best visual must stat from the location itself. we need a great location for the great looks but, some location is not for free to make a movie. we need to rent some place and it will cost us a lot of money.

As our film is inspired by a true event. It is much of a challenge for us to find the right cast for the specific characters in this short film who would be able to emote genuinely of their actions and feelings throughout the film.

Besides casting, our biggest challenge is soliciting funds for the whole production and post-production phase of our film. As we are still students who are pursuing our tertiary studies and not in the working field yet, we are facing difficulties in proceeding with our production work and are in dire need of financial assistance. These funds will be really helpful to us in many ways possible and will be used wisely for our cast and fellow crewmates in terms of F&B, accommodation, and many more.

At the end of the day, it is important to us as a team not to just produce and make a good film, but a purposeful film.
