One For One is an online platform for readers to exchange books for free. The only cost is the mailing cost. 

How does it works? 

Upload your books to our platform, once someone request for your books. Send it out with the code (auto generate) and once the requester received the book, they will need to update the status with the code. Then you will get a point, using that point you can then request for a book from anyone on the platform. By using point system we solve the need for two coincidence wants. 

Thru this platform, people from anywhere in Malaysia can get access to get books at minimal cost. We are making reading enjoyable and affortable :)

How we started?

We started with a physical book exchange platform under the name KL Book Exchange. We wanted to encourage more people to start reading and reduce books left unread or taken to recycle. With higher demand for book exchange, we want to reach out to more people in Malaysia, therefore we came with the idea of online book exchange.

KLBE started with free exchange so will OneForOne.my, the only cost to exchange is the postage cost. With One For One platform book exchange is available for anyone in any corner in Malaysia. Through this platform we aim to encourage more people to read and pass on their books. If you like what we are doing to support us and do sign up on our platform and start exchanging books!

How we sustain?
1. Referral fees from Amazon.
2. Freemium - Offer more feature for premium user.
3. Ads will be our last choice.

Why we need crowdfunding?
We believe this can be a project by the public for the public. A little support from each and everyone, this platform willbe build by all of us, and will benefit to everyone.

Our budget plan:

RM 16,000 for building the platform

RM 800 for the storage space & domain fees

RM 850 will be use for free postage promotion (RM8.50 per pos laju)

(Free postage for first 100 user, RM8.50 per book/user)

RM 350 social media marketing and promotion fees 

Is something new, but we believe we can encourage and get more people to start using our online platform to exchange books. Just like online shopping!
