I wish to serve the younger generation in our community with the fusion version of fashionable Indian suits. Traditionally, Indian suits have meant to be conservative and “old-fashioned”. Also, there has been a distinction between North and South types of suits. My mission is to break that distinction and fuse the best of North and South together through my shop. Indians are Indians, we shouldn’t be defined by North or South and have separation amongst ourselves. I intend to break that separation through my clothes. This is my mission. This funds are only to assist with the registration of the business first. I will roll out the other crowdfunding in phases step by step as I successfully clear each stage of setting up a business. I don’t wish to set up a big fund for everything and then should I face failure, all your money would have gone to waste so I intend to do it step by step. My goal is to first start up this shop in JB as a one-(wo)man show. Once I notice demand picking up, I will open shops in Malacca, Seremban, KL and Penang, where a lot of Indians are. As soon as I receive the funding required, this is what I will be using it for. Please refer to the image below.
I got this information from http://malaysiabizadvisory.com/starting-a-business-in-malaysia-as-a-foreigner/.
Based on my calculations, I expect it will cost about RM15,000 just to successfully complete the business registration process. So far I have only found a space for the shop where rent will be RM 2,400/month. Of course, I have yet to secure it by paying the deposit so these funds will assist with that too. As you may notice from the image above, I will need to submit the shop location for business registration, which means I need to pay the deposit and rent the shop first then register the company. I have met with renovation contractors but have yet to commit to anyone yet because I don’t know how much funds I will generously receive from all of you. I need to plan according to the funds available at hand so once I get the funds, I can choose the appropriate contractor to renovate the shop.
Money is a challenge. Contacts for business registration will be helpful. I will roll the money in as I make sales and use it to invest in different types of suits to match the budgets of different youngsters.
