INTRODUCTION
Crowdfunding Awareness Campaign of Memorable Charity in Labuan is an educational and fund-raising themed program which aim to raising public awareness and educating the community to help special children in Labuan. The program will introduce the knowledge about the important of helping special kids by donating a certain amount of funds to buy raw materials for them to gain profits from selling products that they produce such as handmade baskets to pay for their necessities needs. This program will be held for a month through the crowdfunding platform MyStartr Malaysia for raising fund. We are delighted to initiate this meaningful program for the public and intend to help special children for their better future through the donations collected from the platform. The profits gains from selling the final product from the special kids are divided into two which is the portion will go to the Pertubuhan Bagi Orang-Orang Istimewa Labuan (PBOOIL) for paying the utilities and necessities needed in the long-run operating of the organization and to the special kids’ profit account for them to buy the raw materials that enables them to keep selling their products.
Each of the objectives set in the proposal when executing the program has been achieved which is a below:
1) Raising fund to reach the target fund for necessities to buy the raw materials for the product.
2) Able to enhance the awareness within the community regarding the crowdfunding platform.
3) Able to cooperate with outside organization enables us to deal with outside people for networking purposes.
In this report we provide each of our analysis of our segmentation market for our strategies purposes that has gave us a result of more than 100% based on our campaign result assumptions. As well, a new financial report has been came up from our Financial Department to cope up with the situation exist when executing the program. Moreover from the financial report where because of the current situation of pandemic of COVID-19 our group has came up with how to make our project execution to be success.
Based on the crowdfunding supporters list we received the help from different people where our group make useful of the technologies due to pandemic for our marketing strategies which we also get helped from our corporate organization that we work with which is Pertubuhan Kebajikan Impak Komuniti Sabah (PIKOS) to publish our advertisement into their Facebook Homepage. As well, our group also use the market segmentation that was mentioned in the proposal where we opened to all donations around Universiti Malaysia Sabah students, local Labuan community, Malaysia, and outside donations by posting through WhatsApps, Facebook, and Instagram. We received in total of 50 supporters which in total of RM1,580.00 from the expected amount of RM1,500.00 which is 105%.
Some of our group members able to share the crowdfunding platform and share what is the project about to our nearest family members, friends, and outside people that we could recognize from the help of our corporate organization, PIKOS. As one of our members also able to promote our program to get donator when shopping that gives a result of RM100 donations from them. Instead of we market our strategies through online advertisement we communicate with people around us and convince them how the crowdfunding platform works and how we able to execute our program for us to channel the fund we get to the objectives of the program. Every advertisement we also provided on how to donate through the MyStartr platform as well explaining on how much percentage from each party would receive at the end of the project.

Statement
From the estimation budget would be a slightly changes in terms of commission distribution from MyStartr, Appreciation Money Gift for PIKOS (based on the rules and regulations, remarks and constraints mentioned from the proposal stated as below denoted as 1 until 3):
“1) The fund raised will be given 10% to the MyStartr for using their platform from the overall fund collected.”
Where MyStartr would take 10% from the overall fund that we raised which is instead of RM150.00 they receive RM158.00 from using their service platform.
“2) Estimated through the budget (refer to Index 11 proposal) whereby the amount for appreciation given to the Pertubuhan Bagi Orang-Orang Istimewa Labuan (PBOOIL) and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Impak Komuniti Sabah (PIKOS) are 6.66% and 7.53% respectively.”
Even PBOOIL will received fixed of 6.66% since the fund we raised are more then it increased the Money Appreciation Gift from RM100.00 to RM105.20.
“3) The corporate organization Pertubuhan Kebajikan Impak Komuniti Sabah (PIKOS) that cooperate with us would gain 7.53% from the fund collected if it is 100% collected will change based on the campaign result assumptions. In addition, to help to increase their organization image and productivity in the society.”
As quoted above, where the result of assumptions is more than 100% hence, we increased the percentage from 7.53% into 29.94% which is from RM113.00 to RM473.10.
The postage fees also being increased because of different places the supporters came from and will received donation reward which seven (7) units of baskets (M) that donated RM100.00 and nine (9) units of keychain that donated RM50.00.
Foods and drinks will be discarded from the report because of organization members are all went back home and because of pandemic hence, we flexible on executing the project.
Lastly, we targeted 10 people to donate for Keychain for donations reward and received 9 out of 10 while for the Basket (M) we received 7 out of 20. Through the meeting we distributed the fund to each of criteria that is needed which is the postage cost. As well our members also provide a new add on for each of the supporters that donated RM50.00 and RM100.00 above would receive a special appreciation flower from us when they received the donations reward.

- Any add on such as the appreciation flower given to our donation reward for RM50.00 and RM100.00 above are not included as it is our department willingness to give the appreciation gifts for them.
Because of the pandemic that limited our movement and has make us not able to execute to visit the PBOOIL for activity of them making the handcrafts, limited resources for people to donate since the some of our members approach their previous non-government organization and teachers that involved in donation activity are more focus on the community that already collaborated with other organization makes us falls behind in middle of the month for receiving the fund.
Our team has set an objective where instead of focusing on online advertisement to approach people we step up by posting in social media especially WhatsApps at least post in their stories, group and friends and relatives to help to spread it. While some of milestone took the challenges to approach it when going out for buying groceries and give a result in two people who donated RM100.00. We took our project seriously as it will benefits the special kids due to the issue occur which is COVID-19, it might interfere with the performance of the product selling that shows a negative trend for them to earn profit from it. Hence, through this fund raising that significantly correlated with our main objective would help them in this crisis even more.
Since this is a flexible fund-raising project, we discarded the irrelevant activity such as the food and drinks and increase the more crucial expenses in postage fees and increase in the money appreciation gift for both PIKOS and PBOOIL.
As mentioned earlier we do provide guidelines to people that does not know how to use the crowdfunding platform, MyStartr to guide them in the donation process since some wanted to remain anonymous. We also focus on the theme of our project which is “Your donation, their future” with adding some information on how we work and the fund will be distributed to which party and our objectives to convince them to support the project. At first, it was hard since people are rushing and do not know the process of the crowdfunding which where one of our members took the challenges and convince them in professional way resulting a donation from them.
Some of our supporters may not have any knowledge on crowdfunding that is where we provided the guidelines, video, objectives and even communicate with them on how this fund work and would help to achieved the objectives of the project as well helping other people direct and indirectly. This opens an opportunity for them to have an idea to see where they can receive a fund in the future when they need for certain projects that comes to helping others (charity) and business proposal.
Based on the rules and regulations, remarks and constraints mentioned from the proposal (stated under campaign result assumptions as below denoted as 6; ii):
ii. A successful campaign would lead achievement of all the above mentioned with more than 100% fund collected. It would help the organization to have more than enough fund to help Pertubuhan Bagi Orang-Orang Istimewa Labuan (PBOOIL) to gain profit from selling their product produced by the special kids for paying the necessities and buying raw materials and fund their other products such as the product of making dresses especially for the upcoming Hari Raya for them to have more opportunity to gain much profit for it. This would also do help them to redecorate and open a website to market their products unlimitedly.
We quoted that it is more than a successful project since it is more than 100% earned from the fund raising. Which we could say it is a beneficial project to the community that helped us and themselves to learn and show kindness that we all care for the special kids. Moreover, it deepens the understanding of the value of helping hands to the community that we could help provide to enhance the awareness of every single help that lead to a better future for them to encourage more of their products to be in the market demand. In addition to this, it would be a platform business for them to recover from the pandemic of COVID-19 to earn stable earning resources from it.
As we are more into crowdfunding non-reward basis we received that the value of helping others comes with great challenges that improve ourselves and our communication with the community to share the idea on what we have and introduce the platform (technologies) usage to them to cope up with the trend nowadays. Apart from that, from our view that we have discussed if we runs crowdfunding reward basis it also will challenges face but instead it would have some profit (gains) from the project if it is more than 100%, if it is less than 100% would be none profit while if it is 100% would be how much percentage the party would get. It depends on the operation that organize it, as it could also be if it is less than 100% the profit will be more lesser than the expected to be gain from the project execution.
We been informed that the one helping PBOOIL is not just from our group organization as the market segmentation target are nearly the same which we need to cooperate and divide the people to make their own decision to support which project they want as what we mentioned our hope in the future for more people are willing to help them in any of their needs is very welcomed to donate and make a good deeds from their action as we divide which parts from PBOOIL that we could help has keep the performance for them keep on working such as our group focusing on helping to supply the raw materials for their profit while others focused on hearing aid to help them in education purposes.
Our operating would release the final product for donation rewards from the crowdfunding platform, MyStartr which the product look alike is as below:
As mentioned, products made are based on patterns and colors chosen by our team with (M) size for the donation rewards. Quoted from the proposal where denoted as 4. “Products made are based on patterns and colors that has been chosen by our operating department and team that is approved by the director.”
