When I travel alone, local people will help me when I need a hand. They are not asking for a return, I really appreciate that! This is how project “Colour Malaysia” start.

But I still wonder how I can start, until I met myStartr.com, a crowdfunding website which support and assist me to start!

About this project

This time, I will travel slowly. And I want to be part of the local instead of a traveler. I want to interact with local children, play with them, give them colour pencil, and draw with them. Let them draw something about Malaysia and collect them art work for a celebration of coming Malaysia 55th Independence Day!

I am a traveler but not a passing

I am happy to achieve what I really want to do. This project is meaningful to me. I hope I can help other people instead of accepting other people’s kindness all the time while I travel. This project is to telling people that, a travel can be part of local people too.

每一次一个人的旅行，当我需要帮助时，当地的人们都会给于我最热情的帮忙。他们不求回报的帮助，无私付出，让我很感动也很感激。心中不停萦绕，以后我可以怎样回报他们，也因此开始有了这个念头，慢慢形成这次的project：Colour Malaysia。心中一直想要怎么样、可以怎么样，能为别人带来什么？直到最近假期，机缘巧合下,让我接触到mystartr，也终于可以透过my startr和my road planner的帮助与赞助，去完成这个project。

这一次的旅程，我会放慢我的步伐，每到一个地方，不再当自己是个过客，而是要和当地的小朋友一起互动。我会给他们小小的颜色笔，教他们画画，画出他们心中的马来西亚，画出他们的梦想。之后我会把小朋友的成品收集起来，为我国来临的55岁生日庆祝。通过小朋友天真眼和朴实的画来告诉大家马来西亚的美，我也可以从中了解当地的风土人情。走入乡土，与我童乐。

我是个旅人，但我不愿只是个过客

我一直想要做的事终于可以完成，当然特别的开心，而且对自己而言，有一定的意义价值。我不希望旅人只是一味的收受别人的好意，却不知如何付出并把这份爱散播出去。所以我希望透过我这次的Project，身体力行的告诉大家，可以经由旅行和当地人互动沟通的方法。
用我的眼，跟上我的步伐，让你认识马来西亚的美我对于我的project的热情和信念，相信我可以做到。我希望喜欢和认同我这个project 的人，筹足购买材料颜色笔的资金，进行我的project。让大家以另外一个角度，来发现马来西亚的美，让大家对我们的国家有更进一步的了解和明白，影响更多的人们去改变我们的环境，我们的社区，使马来西亚更美好。
