We believe that contributing in a donation, whether it is a big contribution or a small one, can bring more meaning into one’s life as you get to create opportunities to meet new people who believe in the same causes that inspire you and together, we can make a real impact on the causes. About Project

1. Target Ideas

• CC.EXCITEMENT aims to raise RM1000 as donations for orphanages that are in needs. Our team plans to purchase things the orphanage that are in need of food, stationeries, school supplies and etc. 
• The team also plan to spend a day visiting the orphanage and spend some quality time with the orphans. We will organize a few games to play with the orphans and a bonding session with them as well as a way to get to know them better. 
• The team decided to team up with Patron's Cause (PC), which is another group of students from Taylor's University. Patron's Cause has the same target as CC Excitement. Both teams will combine the funds raised to help the targeted orphanages.

2. Targeted Orphanage

Yayasan Seribu Harapan Malaysia (YSHM)

YSHM is an orphanage home to 60 boys and girls. The orphanage was started in 2010 by Mr. Muneeswaran. They have always believed in providing a strong commitment and support to those neglected children in Malaysia. YSHM is a well-established non-governmental organisation (NGO). They had just recently moved to a new address in Shah Alam and require household equipments and appliances. 

3. Target networks and communities

1. CC.EXCITEMENT appreciates fund raised by the kind souls from all over the world through the Internet. The group will also reward the plegers to show gratitude. 

2. CC EXCITEMENT uses the impact of social media platforms such as Instagram to drive target audience to the crowdfunding website. The team will update constantly on Instagram about inspirational stories and the preparation of the campaign.

Timeline

The crowdfunding campaign ends on 9/12/2018. The team has chosen fixed funding setting for this campaign. As we had chosen fixed funding for this campaign, we will only proceed to deliver our aims if we successfully raised RM1k as mentioned. If we succeed to raise the target amount of fund, we will be fulfilling all of the promises including the visit of the orphanage on December. 

Team's Introduction

Children Care Excitement (CCE) is a crowd funding campaign formed by a team of students from Taylor's University. The campaign is a part of the assignments of Business Skills for Engineers module. 

CC.Excitement consists of 5 students from Taylor's University. The reason we are choosing this charity campaign is because we wanted to help the children with the opportunity given by this assignment. We are grateful for what we have and we wanted to share the love to the children. 

Budget

Target funds to raise

1.CC EXCITEMENT targets to raise RM1000.00 for the campaign to proceed.

2. The financial department of the team plans to use 15% of the funds for operation costs and 85% of the funds to buy food, stationeries and orphanage's wishlist item as donation to the orphanages. 

Why Crowdfunding

The team chose to use crowdfunding as the platform because it enables us to promote this project online through the Internet.

With the fund raised, the team will be able to purchase all the living needs and goods to the orphans. 15% of the fund will be used for operation costs.

There may be a few challenges occurring throughout this project that the team is highly aware of.

Challenges that may occur are as follows: 

• Since the funds collect is a fixed setting, the team will not be able to fulfill the objective of this project unless the targeted amount is obtained.
• Due to the time being limited, the team might have complications in completing the rewards as exams and assignments may interrupt the process of making the rewards.
• The team may encounter some difficulties in socializing with the orphans due to the lack of experience in organizing such event and communicating with children.

Although the challenges seem complex, the team will try their very best to overcome these challenges in order to fulfill the goal of this project.
