1. Nanyang coffee culture has been part of Southeast Asian life for generations.
From kopi brewed in cloth socks to kaya toast breakfasts, these traditions carry stories, memories, and identity.
But today, many traditional kopitiams are disappearing.
2. Our mission is simple:
To preserve and reintroduce Nanyang food culture for the next generation.
Through Capitol Kopi, we aim to create a modern space where tradition meets contemporary dining.
This is not just a restaurant, it is a cultural experience.
3. Capitol Kopi serves a diverse community:
- Young people who want authentic food experiences but in a modern environment.
- People who grew up with kopitiam culture and want to relive those memories.
- Visitors who want to experience local food culture.
- The Muslim Community
We aim to develop a Halal-friendly Nanyang dining experience, allowing more people to enjoy traditional flavors.
4. Capitol Kopi combines three elements:
- Nanyang Kopitiam Cuisine
Traditional dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Kaya Toast, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Traditional Kopi
Now we're add in new concept, French Patisserie Craftsmanship.
Through our dessert brand Flos, we bring refined pastry techniques to the table.
This creates a unique dining concept:
Nanyang Cuisine + French Desserts
5. To ensure consistency and scalability, we are building systems behind the brand:
Central Kitchen System:
To standardize sauces, sambal, paste, pre-cook ingredients and materials. To train staff in both service and product knowledge and learn how to track sales data and optimize ingredient purchasing.
This ensures:

* Efficient operations
* Scalable growth
6. Our fundraising target will be used to support the development of the first central kitchen.
