The crowdfunding project of “Building with Epic Homes for the Orang Asli” was released on MyStartr from 31st March 2020 to 9th June 2020. This project has been funded for 56 days in the MyStartr crowdfunding platform. We have successfully collected an amount of RM2,270.00 through MyStartr through 37 supporters. The commission fee we need to pay to MyStartr is a 10% service charge from our total supported amount, which is RM227.00 from the RM2,270.00. After deducted the service charge, we used RM41.00 to purchase the gifts for our supporters through Lazada Application. We have 4 supporters who claimed for the t-shirt rewards, in which three of them are from West Malaysia and one of them is from East Malaysia. The shipping fee to West Malaysia is RM5.50 and East Malaysia is RM9.50. The price for the various sizes of the t-shirts is also different, which is RM5.50 for size S, RM6.50 for size M, and RM7.50 for size L.
Execution Report
We placed rewards for pledgers who donated at RM100, RM500, and RM1,000. The first 50 pledgers that donate RM100 will get a t-shirt. Next, the first 50 pledgers that donate RM500 will get a t-shirt and a tote bag. The first 50 pledgers that donate RM1,000 will get a t-shirt, a tote bag, and a smartwatch. We received RM2,270 with 37 pledgers, achieving 3% from our targeted amount. After deducting the MyStartr service charge of 10 percent which equal to RM227, our total supported amount is RM2,043.00. We used RM41 to purchase the rewards for our pledgers. We have sent thank you emails to all our pledgers to express our gratitude towards them for donating and supporting us during this crowdfunding project. We bought plain randomize t-shirts for our 4 pledgers who donated RM100 and shipped it out to their homes. The remaining funds from the crowdfunding project, which is RM2,002.00 will be fully donated to EPIC Homes to continue their work for the Orang Asli in Hulu Langat.
