Balas was written by the whole team based on our Highschool years here in Malaysia. Balas is definitely something that all, if not, most Malaysian highschoolers might have went through. Thus, us, the team pouring out, our personal experiences in this film. 

Farhan has always been bullied in highschool. At one point, he was publicly humiliated. Yearning for revenge, Farhan plots a way to get the bully into trouble. Teaming up with his best friend, they conspire against the bully by taking pictures that could get the bully in hot water. Although their scheme is a success, Farhan gets a revelation and realizes that maybe revenge isn’t so sweet after all.

We are a group of passionate film students from MMU Iskandar Puteri (Faculty of Cinematic Arts) , working on our final year project.
