What is BITTERSWEET all about?

Bittersweet is about a child named Zya, who has divorced parents. She stays under her father's custody and her father does not allow her to meet her mother after the separation. She misses her mother so much, till one day, on her 8th birthday, she tricks her mother to come over and meet her at the school's report card day without her father's knowledge. Since then, she keeps finding ways to make her mother stays longer with her. As the time passes, she finds out the truth that changes her. Will she choose to stay with her mother or return to her father?

We are a group of final year students from Faculty of Cinematic Arts, MMU Nusajaya. Our group consists of:

Quality & Originality

In order to produce a good quality short film, we will need to get experienced actors or actress as our short film cast to deliver our story well. We will also need to rent better equipment from the existing equipment rental house to give the best look to our short film. Besides, we also want to have originally composed music that will assist the mood of our short film and with that, we will not need to deal with the copyright issue.

To do all that, we will need a proper budget and that is why we do crowdfunding in order to get assistance from all of you.

Time Constraint

Time is money and making a short film requires us to manage our time properly. We will need to produce Bittersweet by March 2016. So crowdfunding really helps to save our time to find the budget. Again, thanks to you guys for making this happen!
