On the 29th of December 2024, the "Christmas Project: 5 Loaves 2 Fish" took place at Rumah Bakti Harapan. This initiative aimed to bring joy and assistance to those in need during the festive season.
A total of 15 volunteers actively participated in this event. This dedicated group encompasses both students and working adults, all of whom have generously chosen to contribute their time during this bustling season. It is particularly noteworthy that some individuals have gone above and beyond, flying in from West Malaysia and Sarawak to actively participate in this Christmas Project activities. This level of enthusiasm and willingness to contribute, especially during such a busy time, is truly commendable.
Their collective efforts are shaping the success of the project, and their commitment serves as a testament to the community spirit that thrives within our volunteer network. The volunteers successfully brought all the donation items as outlined in the initial proposal. These items included essential supplies, donation money for their home building plans and gifts to enhance the festive experience for the Rumah Bakti Harapan member.
Pastor Ginantar, the esteemed head of Rumah Bakti Harapan, graciously devoted time to introduce each member residing in the house for disabled individuals and orphans to a group of visiting volunteers.
