by 麒舞者民族舞团 The Mythical Oriental Dance
由香港舞团-舞空间与马来西亚麒舞者民族舞团呈献，《十二金钗》舞蹈演出以中国古典名著《红楼梦》为底本，由香港编舞家林慧恩与马来西亚编舞家郭少麒联合创作，透过古典身韵及华族舞的身体姿态表现红楼梦中女子们的卓越风姿与精神特质。除此之外，邀请了香港著名古筝乐手李冠集，为《十二金钗》进行现场伴奏，让观众一飨【中国文学X华族舞X华乐】的中华文化盛宴。

编舞家【郭少麒】（马来西亚）
毕业于香港演艺学院中国舞系。
曾任台湾云门舞集2专业舞者，在艺术总监林怀民的引领下，在舞团里各个不同风格的作品展现舞蹈身体。
作品《梦蝶》曾获得第五届 BOH Cameronian Awards 最佳舞者与最佳编舞。
2013年1月创办华族舞团《麒舞者》，着重于古典舞与民间舞训练，并率团制作了《风云再麒》、《麒迹》大型华族舞汇演。
现今就读于国立台北艺术大学舞蹈研究所，主修舞蹈创作。
特邀编舞家【林慧恩】（香港）
毕业于香港演艺学院，主修中国舞。1993年曾赴北京舞蹈学院进修中国民间舞。
在校期间曾参与多个大型演出，节目包括由盛培琪及梅卓燕所编导之《埋‧伏》及香港舞蹈团前艺术总监蒋华轩所编之《黄土‧黄河》等。
毕业后，致力参与各类不同之演出，包括由北京主办之全国少数民族大汇演、第十五届多哈亚运会之开幕典礼汇演。
08年，曾参与北京奥运开幕式前表演仪式。
致力推广舞蹈教育及创作，曾于2011年创作了首个舞蹈剧场《烈女图》；运用中国舞蹈的基础，赋予现代舞的手法展现时代女性的千奇百态，获得一致好评。
特邀古筝演奏家【李冠集】（香港）
著名青年古筝专业演奏家，毕业于香港演艺学院中乐系古筝专业。
师从著名国家一级演奏家许菱子教授学习古筝专业，并师从著名古琴家张敬崇副修古琴艺术。在校期间，获汇丰奖学金前往北京中央音乐学院跟随周望教授学习，并为演艺中乐团及筝团之演奏员。
多年来活跃于海内外之演奏与交流，先后任多个乐团及筝团之古筝演奏员，参与独奏，重奏，伴奏等演出过百场。
李氏掌握了五大传统古筝流派及现代高难度曲目，演奏技术全面，快速指序，双手轮指，弹轮，弹摇等现代高难度技巧都运用自如，情感细腻，风格洒脱

Tuba Island located 20 minutes boat ride away from Kuah, Langkawi is an island with full of tourism potential. Some say that Tuba Island is how Langkawi looked like 20 years ago.
The aim of implementing this project is to help the local community with tourism management skills, improve their facilities while preserving their culture and environment and promote Tuba Island as a new Community Based Tourism (CBT) destination in Malaysia. Community Based Tourism (CBT) is a new form of tourism product in which tourism is managed the local communities. Apart from improving the life standard of local communities, the main agenda of the CBT is to preserve the socio-cultural status and the environment of the local communities.

This project are intentionally to support me during my internship in Indonesia for 4 months. For your information, Malay Gamelan Instrument has been one of our heritage in Malaysia but we are out of tuner and how it's made. This skills are only located in Indonesia. Hence, i am willingly to go by myself and learn it there for the sake of our Gamelan enthusiasts and younger students here in Malaysia. There's a huge chance that i will be the first Malaysian who's going to discover tuning in Gamelan instrument and help tons of schools, institutions and other places as well. I really do appreciate your kindness and sincerity for being a supporter that is going to help me, making this a successful project.

The 9th Nyoba Kan International Butoh Festival 2016 pulls together practitioners of different backgrounds from theatre, dance, music, design, installation art, to video art. An art form blends into another to transform its potential and to accelerate its capacity to create meaning, experience, and idea. Dancers, performers, musicians, designers, and artists work together to explore the process and collaboration of different disciplines. By bridging multiple art forms, practitioners interact with and respond to each other’s social space to create a multi sensory festival.
As the world celebrates Shakespeare’s 400th Anniversary, Nyoba Kan has conceived a production based on William Shakespeare’s Richard III — with a Butoh injection and interpretation.
As passionate Butoh practitioners in Malaysia, we have a strong desire to communicate and interact with Japanese Butoh Artistes; to work, to collaborate and learn from one another, in an effort to achieve the best possible outcome in our work. Thus this year we have invited a young, up and coming Butoh artiste Nobuyoshi Asai to work with us in this production " The Plots of a Tyrant" , together with local and German composer, Yii Kah Hoe & Max Riefer. We hope to cultivate a platform of exchange where it can also provides an opportunity for Japanese Butoh Artistes to learn about ‘Butoh in Malaysia’.
