This project will manage the planting of a grove of endangered native forest tree species, located in the heart of the UM campus. This area will be a major campus feature, providing many learning opportunities for student project work, academic research, edutourism, and enhance local school and community awareness activities. This will also enable the campus community and general public to view uncommon species up- close. It will also provide a controlled environment to raise the trees and enhance the habitat for birds, insects and other urban wildlife.

We aim to gather a total amount of RM 6215 in the period of 16 April 2021 to 10 June 2021. The remaining or excess donations collected that exclude the donation expenses and reward expenses will be directly passed to the Parent-Teacher Association of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ldg Semantan for them to purchase 10 unit of tablets for the less fortunate students for online learning purpose. With the funds collected, the school authorities could buy the 10 units of tablets and each class would have at least 2 units of tablets.
This project is a milestone in achieving our vision, we keep motivated and enthusiastic about the education of our future generation by equipping them with 21st-century skills. In the future, we wish to connect with more rural state authorities or schools in the whole Malaysia to cooperate and design more fundraising campaigns for children’s education.

Crowdfunding Awareness Campaign of Grace Old Folks Home in Kota Kinabalu is an educational and fund-raising themed program which aims to raise public awareness and educate the community to help elderly people in Kota Kinabalu. The program will introduce the knowledge of the importance of helping elderly people by donating a certain amount of funds to buy raw materials for them for their daily uses. This program will be held for a month through the crowdfunding platform Mystartr Malaysia for raising funds. The purpose of the project is to raise funds for our program “WE HELP” by collecting small contributions from a large number of people to help Persons with Disabilities (OKU) in Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Labuan (PPDK). They do not have enough food as mentioned by the PPDK supervisor while we were interviewing her. Crowdfunding can be a valuable tool to help people with disabilities or handicaps, as it can provide a way for them to raise funds to support their specific needs and challenges.
