Our crowdfunding project namely “Bringing Happiness to Our Little Sunshine” manage by team “Light of Hope” had crowdfunded total of RM1617.00 by using MyStartr Malaysia Platform. Our crowdfunding project period is from 1st May 2022 to 9th June 2022, total crowdfunding period is 39 days. Total of 38 pledgers have support to our campaign. The quantity of each amount had donated can refer to A1. However, 10% of the overall funds that we have received will be paid to MyStartr as service charge, and another 6% will be charged for service tax. After deducting all charges to MyStartr platform, we will receive a total of RM1455.60. From the total amount, RM41.93 will be used to purchase reusable straws as part of the rewards to supporters who have donated RM100 and above. This amount is less than the amount we had initially set aside for rewards at RM169.45, as not all supporters claimed the rewards. Additionally, no one had donated RM200 and above, thus no supporters were illegible to claim the tote bags. This means that only 2.59% of the collected funds will be spent on rewards. According to the budget planning, we estimated a total of RM938.25 to be spent on the purchase of recreational items while RM300 is for postage fees, and we have remaining funds of RM165.42. As the purchases will be done through an e-commerce platform, Shopee, the price of items may vary from the price we estimated a few months ago which can refer to A2. However, only a total of RM903.40 crowdfunded funds have been used to purchase the recreational items compared to the estimated amount of RM 938.25. Moreover, a total of RM298 was spent on postage fees which are lesser than the budgeted postage fees of RM300. Thus, the additional funds of RM206.07 will be donated in cash to the orphanage.
