In my spare down time I typically will spend time on my blog while trying to work out some creative ways to contribute to the community. One of my interest was going to the movies but I do find difficulty in the early days where we need to go for a long queue just to get a ticket. When the mobile apps was on high gear, I manage to work out a simple free app called My Cinemas for android.
I am very fond of my simplistic app for android and decided to release it out for free over the google play platform. I still recall that my very first app, My Cinemas was created using some easy app creation. In the early days, most app creation software was free but not anymore now.
Since My Cinemas was uploaded and mostly to cater the malaysian movie-goers, it still holds more than 10,000 users. I was a bit disappointed as the app technology has gotten better but my app has been displaying incorrectly on some mobile phones due to old app creation technology. At present, maintaining and updating the app to stay within the ever changing mobile application compatibility are getting very expensive and high cost.
I am hoping that mystartr.com backers can assist in allowing me to keep it updated and maintain a free My Cinemas 2.0 android app by having a better app engine rework from ground up and hopefully it can still be relevant for another 2 years or more. The rework app engine and subscription for the downloads using the app engine would cost RM2000/year and I am hoping that My Cinemas will stay relevant for another 2 years or more. This will enable most Malaysians to enjoy browsing, booking and keeping up to date in our Malaysia movie releases using My Cinemas 2.0 for FREE.

1. What is Traven?
Traven is the point to point Cross-Border E-commerce platform to provide a shopping service for our users. Traven consists of the concept of C2B( Customer to Business) and C2C ( Customer to Consumer) to bring more value to our user. In the platform, there are two roles who are Traveller( Seller) and Requestor (Buyer)
Traven is providing a platform to allow Traveller to sell their products or items to Requestor. Traveller can be the part time or full time purchaser to travel to relevant country to help requestor to buy products/items they want. Prior on travelling to the country, Traveller can put all the items they wish to sell and Requestor can place order as much as they can before the post is expired. That’s where you can find all of these in ‘Post Product’
Another interesting and unique point is that requestor can post the item they wish to buy and waiting to be offerred by Traveller. Therefore, Requestor can compare all the offer and make an final decision to buy their product.
The objective of Traven platform is to provide a peer-to peer market place that can allow traveller who have extra luggage space to buy things from overseas to meet local demand. In the view of requestor, it helps to save the international shipping costs and save all the troublesome procedure for forwarding and custom clearance and can grab exclusive goodies at the very first time. In the view of traveller, it can help to earn more money by helping requestor to purchase item

E-commerce and running a shopping platform are long term business and it need to cost a lot of money in webpage/app development, Features and function improvement, sales & marketing strategic, advertisement ,delivery tracking system, product graphic design and etc. We have already invested RM100k ourselves to build existing web-page, operating system and etc and we are running out of the funding.
We are committed to create more value to our user and hope can improve more on our Traven platform by utilized the fund we get from crowdfunding.

We are a new baking ingredients wholesale supply shop starting our business in Malaysia. We are known as Shajez Baking Ingredients (wholesale).
This is a wholesale supply baking ingredients corner that focuses on supplying middle class families as well as home based bakeries.
It has always been my vision to start a wholesale bakery ingredient corner where everyone will be able to purchase their needed ingredients to bake at home by creating a healthy eating lifestyle at home without having to worry about preservatives being added into their plate.
With this in mind, we are looking forward to giving back to the community by being able to open this wholesale shop for the betterment of the community.
I am looking to raise $ 40,000. Your generosity will help me to fund this place in buying the necessary equipment, natural products, tools and proper refrigeration. Various bakery equipment - pans, trays, ovens & mixing bowls will also be apart of the few things to be sold to the community at an affordable price.
By receiving your help in providing the funds, we will be transferring 5% of the amount received into our local orphanages.

The Impact
Besides that, by opening this business, we are able to provide job opportunities to the locals. Individuals and families that once decided that baking is expensive, will get back on their track to stop purchasing bleached and blanched bread that is only full of starch and preservatives.
Small businesses that used to start at home will begin operating their businesses. Those who can't afford to try recipes found on their TV broadcast ed channels will start baking the impossible.
Risks & Challenges
It took me 3 years to think and plan over starting a business meant to be affordable for the community. The planning was difficult at first, but due to some calls and help on the itineraries, it was possible.
However, the ideas were all over, the plan is there, but there was no fund to start the business. I have tried looking out for loans, but in vain.
If ever, we have insufficient fund, we will still reach out our goal to support the community at an affordable price, but we will need to restrict the types of bakery ingredients sold to allow us to supply and not break down our intention and passion.
However, once my funding is reached, I will be able to follow the entire planning platform in full scale.

The purpose of this crowdfunding project is to create an awareness about the burning of amazon forest located in Brazil. This event had recently happened on August 19th 2019. The burning of the amazon forest has affected the cycle of the ecosystem. The amazon forest is about 2.12 square mile and it is able to suck about 2.4 billion tons of carbon dioxide each year. However, due to the burning of the amazon rainforest, the ability to absorb the amount of carbon dioxide is getting lesser. This is because the amount of trees available has decreased drastically. Hence, this will lead to a higher chance of global warming. However, there are many organisations that are trying to save the burning of the amazon forest as amazon watch, rainforest action network and rain forest trust. Therefore, our crowdfunding project is to raise awareness on the negative impact of the burning amazon forest in taylor’s university and to help save the ecosystem.
