The project is a contribution by PRO-NUR group to the Service-Learning Malaysia (SULAM) programme at the institutional level where students were provided with the chance to contribute and engage in direct community service. The project entails the fixing of solar lights at the Taman Layangan Islamic Cemetery, Labuan. The project will increase lighting, safety and convenience for visitors especially if they go there in the evening or at dawn.
Taman Layangan Muslim Cemetery, or Tanah Perkuburan Islam Tanjung Layang-Layangan, is a primary Muslim cemetery in Labuan. Situated in the village of Layang-Layangan, the cemetery is convenient for the Muslim populace in the area and is frequented by family members to offer their respects to their departed loved ones.
On Friday, 18 April 2025, our group went for a visit to the cemetery to evaluate the current conditions of the cemetery. From what we have observed, there are only four solar lights fitted along the cemetery stretch. The current lights are not enough to enable effective lighting, particularly for night visits, which is also a factor in the safety of the visitors. Additionally, the absence of adequate lighting is an issue for the elderly and others to move about safely, particularly during religious activities like tahlil or ziarah kubur.
Therefore, this project proposes the installation of more solar-powered light units to further enhance the visibility and safety of the area. By offering a green technology lighting solution, we aim to create an even safer and more inviting area for all visitors, while encouraging the use of green technology in public areas. In coordination with the people of the locality, we will be conducting a community clean-up drive in addition to the installation. This two-fold activity successfully functions to both instill civic and spiritual values in the students and further strengthen the bond between the university and the community.

Online shopping wasn’t as popular and convenient as it is now - choosing food involved spending too much time comparing and scrutinizing ingredients between products, verifying reliable food sources and certifications, and much more. It was time-consuming to find food with quality standards that meet your needs at a reasonable price, a burden for housewives and career women. Does it have to be so difficult to pursue a healthy diet? This question inspired us to start a specialty store. After all, we have accumulated ample knowledge in selecting various grains, dried fruits and jams over the past few years. Starting a business means allows us to tap these valuable insights for the benefits of ourselves and others, providing a safe avenue to purchase nuts, grains, dried fruits, jams and snacks! Hence the birth of Fresh Bulk.

A group of friends encounter a supernatural occurrence that involves the life of one of them.
Film is the most expensive art. It a combination of still images and movement creates a kind of art that gives a big impact to our own selves, community and culture. However, there are two major hurdles in making a film; money and time.
We are a group of first year film students from Multimedia University, Nusajaya. Currently, we am working on a film horror project that brings a new perspective of Horror in cinema. This screenplay was one out of the four selected among 23 other screenplays by students within a class.
